DeepMind has developed an AI model capable of analyzing and generating dolphin sounds. Simultaneously, similar projects are underway to study the languages of birds, elephants, and monkeys.

According to reports, the name of this project is “DolphinGemma”, and it uses artificial intelligence to recognize the sound patterns of dolphins and even generate responses resembling their language.

The idea is simple: If dolphins can talk to each other, why shouldn't we be able to understand their conversations or respond to them?

Talking to Animals with Artificial Intelligence

In other similar projects, scientists are analyzing the sounds of various animals. They record and study the voices of elephants, parrots, and monkeys.
